Introducing MATH! Grade 5 by ArgoPrep: 600+ Practice Questions

OUTSTANDINGI love this book!! Absolutely outstanding. This book explains processes in a manner I have yet to see in any other math book. My 5th grade loves it. The cute pictures liven up the pages and the instructions are so helpful! Lastly, the free video explanations are FABULOUS. EVERY QUESTION IN THE BOOK GETS ANSWERED! I will be buying one of these for my daughter every year. I see they have an ELA version.. Wish they had all subjects. I would buy every subject available!!! NO, I did not get this product at a discount I am just a Mom that is SO HAPPY to have found a book that makes math a little more fun! (P.S. I HATEEEEEE MATH so thank you for the answer key in the back that gives DETAILED STEP-BY-STEP INSTRUCTIONS on how to answer each question. I appreciate this book so much!

Good valueHopefully this book have all the answers in the right spot (the 4th grade one did not). Even with that I like this book, it explains how to do the problems and there are videos to help explain how to do the problems.

For kids who use Go Math, this book is not a good supplement.This book doesn't provide enough practice. In some cases, the book answers are wrong. Ex. 3.2.C #14. Comparing to Go Math, it misses Decimals and other topics.

Useless, inaccurate answer keyAs an educator, I purchased the grades 4-6 workbooks to review and practice math concepts that I learned a million years ago but have not taught as another way to prepare for the upcoming school year (my job assignment has changed). In the grade 4 edition, the answer key went off the tracks beginning with section 2 providing answers to problems that are not in the book. For a student or a parent who needs this support--to be able to check his/her work--having 100% inaccurate information makes this workbook useless.

Misrepresented this book in your ""look inside"I am a teacher. I went to the Argo website and determined this would be a good add to my classroom. I have even recommended this to parents. The "look inside" shows colored pages and the book arrived in black and white. Shame on you! Color is much more engaging with kids, especially in math. Now I am disappointed that I recommended this. I feel like this was misrepresented to your buyers. I want the colored version sent to me or I will return this and remove it from my recommendations

Good coverage of core concepts. Typos encountered periodically.Overall, this is a good workbook for keeping your child up to speed on the topics covered in 5th grade common core tutelage. I do find encountering typographical errors frustrating as it, generally, interferes with or otherwise impedes more ready comprehension. Nonetheless, challenging practice questions and thorough coverage worthy of consideration.
