Introducing MATH! Grade 3 by ArgoPrep: 600+ Practice Questions

Be on the look out for mathematical and grammatical mistakes throughout this expensive book!So many errors for a book so expensive! I love the format and even like the simple way concepts are explained and written out. Unlike other books we've used, they have a brief explanation of the new concept followed by practice problems. Then the end of each section has a "quiz" of sorts. HOWEVER, there are so many mathematical and grammatical mistakes throughout the books and I bought two (3rd grade and 5th grade). In fact the 3rd grade book had a mistake on the very first page. When I contacted Argo prep directly, I was assured that this was indeed a mistake and that I would not find any others...well that simply wasn't the case. I've called the company, sent many emails with pictures pointing out the errors and where they were located and sadly I wasn't offered a refund. Just a bit disappointing. Again, the way concepts are explained is great but Parents PLEASE take the time to sit with your child so you can catch the mistakes and correct as needed.

Pretty decent work book.-I am happy with this product, he used it to review Math through the summer. We finished it all and it was easy and fun to do.

Good outweighs bad, but there are many errorsPurchased this along with many other workbooks for my daughter to keep up with math skills during COVID-19. The pace of the sub-chapters and short explanations are great, but there are a lot of errors as some of the other reviewers pointed out. Not just errors with respect to the math questions, which frustrate my daughter as she thinks she is confused when in fact the book is just wrong, but there are also grammatical errors in the language.

Big Math Mistake on 1st Page!!!I'm honestly surprised this book has so many good reviews. I bought this one and the 6th grade one and returned them a few days later. Everywhere I looked it shows colored pages, even on the back of the book, however it is all black and white. That was my first disappointment but I decided I could over look that. The pages definitely don't look as fun in black and white though. I was going to have my kids do a few pages because we are trying to ease into homeschooling. I sat down with my daughter, who needs more help than my son in math, and there was a huge math mistake on the first page!!! Unacceptable for a math book! It is explaining that 3x2 is like three groups of two. Then it asks what 8x4 equals. It shows a picture of four groups of four and says if you could the squares you'll see that it equals 16!!! Not going to look through the book anymore after that. I don't need a math book filled with mistakes.

Typos, but it's a good book.Lots of typos and even a wrong addition problem... 9+5 is not 13! Lol! Whoever does the proof reading mut have been on vacation. my kids do enjoy working in these books though.
