4th Grade Social Studies: Daily Practice Workbook

My child enjoys this book!The great thing about this book is that the narrator reads it word for word. They also have videos that go along to let the child know which page the narrator is on. The only downside I've noticed so far is that the narrator selected a different answer than the answer key (at least one time so far and we haven't finished the book). That's the only reason I didn't give this review a 5 star rating. The narrators are human, so there's room for mistakes. And as long as a parent or adult is there to assist the child, they can verify the correct answer so the child isn't confused. I'd buy from this company again.

Good but needs more careful editingWe got this book to supplement our home schooling curriculum. The content is generally good, and I like the way it's laid out, with the lessons building on each other as you go through the book. However, it seems that at some point the book was adjusted and someone should have gone over it again more carefully after the changes. Whenever it tells you to reference a previous page, the page numbers are wrong. They seem to always be off by the same number of pages, so it seems like they put in a new section and no one ever went back through to correct the page changes. For example it might say "refer to the political map of New York on page 25" but that map will actually be on page 33. It's not the end of the world, but it's annoying.

Great easy-to-use workbookOur daughter liked using this workbook to supplement her instruction at school.

Book is not as describedThe pages of this book are entirely in an awful grayscale which makes the maps/images very difficult to read especially when directions tell you to refer to the COLORED maps/images when answering questions. It’s incredibly frustrating that the pages weren’t printed correctly. The first grade edition has the same issue as well so it’s definitely a publication problem.

My child really enjoys the lessons in this workbookI got her the 3rd grade version & she really enjoyed the lessons & format so much. She requested 4rth grade version. The lessons are very grade appropriate & my child had no problem going through the lessons. As a parent I am very happy with this workbook as well.
